-- Colossi # 7 (c07)--
The voices inside my head (I don't buy for a second that
it really is a deity talking to me) make a small and quite stupid fart joke:
"a ripple of thunder is in an underground lake."
Head North West of the castle towards a mountain pass at
3D. Continue through it to the mouth of the cave which is located at 1D.
Cinematic: Panning shots of the lake which is not
underground at all. Who would have
thought that the voices inside of a schizophrenic would lie?
Walk around the stone spiral, which will cause some
Fuzion Frenzy/Twisted System flashbacks.
You must play that game if you have not already.
Cinematic: A giant phallus, I mean serpent colossus
surfaces.

Kill Colossus #7:
Much like the other bosses you fought, the Colossus will
swim around in his natural habitat totally oblivious of you. Change that by holding R1 to dive and splash
about, it seems to attract him towards you.
As he nears he will start to surface. You know you are in business when you see
circles of electricity on the top of the water. Avoid those spots but continue
swimming along with him because his tail will surface. When it does press R1. You must be on top of
his tail to get a hold of him.
Once you are securely onto his tail he will start weaving
in and out of the water.
His strategy is quite dumb because you can not breathe
underwater. He should just dive deep and kill you.
When his body is above water, let go of R1 and run
towards his head. Stop just behind the electricity towers because that is where the kill spots are located. Stab quickly because if he goes under again
you will be electrocuted. After
sufficient stabbing they will go dark.
That glowing symbol looks like it is a drawing by the
producer's kid. The graphics guy was
probably required to add it to make him happy.
Hold R1 when he dives then let go when he breaches
again. Repeat the above steps until you
have stabbed each electric dorsal fin.
When you get to the head there is one more spot. Stab it to finally kill him.
-------------------------------------------
Cinematic: Death of the leviathan. While watching this,
think about what science could have learned by studying his huge electric
generating cells. We probably could have
powered cars, houses, or trains with the technology gleamed from those
electrical dorsal fins. What a shame.
The black magic enters my soul and somehow I get back to
castle creepy voices.
