So with Colossus number eight we are now half way through
this and on an honest to God killing spree.
There really is no turning back now.
Voices: Sleeps in a dry lake bed, rude awakening -
check. Great it is bad enough I am just
killing them, now I do it while their sleeping - real heroic.
Gandolf sword says to head North West. On my way over I realized that I
could shoot arrows while I ride - awesome! There better be a colossus where I
have to shoot it with arrows while on horseback.
Continue around to the area is across the chasm. There should be several geysers.
Cinematic: New colossus. He is a quadruped with a huge
shell.

Kill Colossus #9:
This colossus shoots laser beams! He just shot my horse
with one and knocked the both of us over.
This colossus is a total dick! I have no problem killing him. This game should have been called
"Shadow of boss 9, he is a dick".
After dying three times in a row, I had to use another
faq to get the answer (see Alex Eagleson's FAQ on www.gamefaqs.com,
thanks).
This boss is such a total douche the even his gimmick is
lame and hard to accomplish. Lure him over to one of the geysers and when it
erupts it will knock him off balance.
His feet will turn green, hoot two of those green spots with arrows.
If you successfully hit them with arrows, he will roll
over. Run around to his belly and R1 +
Triangle your way up to the spot where
his hard dorsal shell starts. Stop there
and just hold on until he rolls over.
Pull yourself up and run around to the back of the shell and run up to
his head to find that glowing spot. Stab it until he is dead.

Boy did I hate that boss.
It was hard to find him, he took forever to lure over, and then he had
to be positioned just right over them.
Let us never speak of him again.
