Ashton is still crossing the bridge toward a castle. A
gate opens up and he marches right through.
He caries a Jawa into this huge castle.
The rider continues through a giant spiral staircase.
Apparently his tribe makes clothing reusing what they have on hand; in this
case, floor runners. This tribe is known
for their use of hair defusers to get their hair perfectly feathered.
Horse and rider pass by.
It actually looks more like he is carrying a mummy than a Jawa. Or a mummified Jawa anyway. The emo kid
dismounts from the horse caring the Jawa and places it on a giant altar. He pulls off the blanket and says kazaam
"I have turned this mummy Jawa into a girl." Which was quite a magic trick considering she
was lying on the blanket and he didn’t roll her.
A panda mask appears and mumbles from behind a huge cloud
of smoke. The smoke means that it is
taking place in my mind but I am not sure if this is a flashback or a
foreshadowing. The mask talks about such important things as "Intersecting
points" and "bringing souls back from the dead". Write this all down it is very important.
Shadow men come out of ground. The kid turns around like “what the
F???" and pulls out a sword like "you better bring it". He points it at them. They blow away and the camera pans up to a
hole in the ceiling, considered an oculus (wikipedia pantheon)
The oculus talks. Its name is Dormin?
The architecture says "Souls that are lost can not
be reclaimed." Dormmin, uses more boring talk to give the kid a little
tutorial of this land. The oculus uses a quasi middle-English diction spiced
with “Thous” and “Thy”. Any game that
uses these means there will probably be some swordplay involved. Defeat colossi
and the idols will fall. Doing this will bring back the maiden.
To find out where to go raise thy sword to the light. The
expository cinematic ends (clocking in at just shy of 21 minutes - which is pretty good for a Japanese
game).
